Grandma Susie Washington is the namesake and cherished inspiration for Susie’s Wagon. Raised in a farming community in the Jim Crow south she hailed from humble beginnings. Her encouraging and uplifting nature was the perfect catalyst to becoming a beloved educator whose commitment and enthusiasm helped to manifest the dreams of those around her.

Thank you for being a Hero in the lives of our youth! It is our mission to place quality technology in the hands of 11th and 12th grade students of color who are not able to afford a laptop due to financial hardship.

Please complete the form below to help us get to know your student! You will receive an email notification of congratulations if they are chosen to receive a MacBook Pro laptop. Please note, planning to attend college is not a prerequisite.

  • You are not permitted to nominate family members or extended relatives.

  • Only one nomination per Teacher/Administrator/Youth Advocate.

Complete this form by Friday April 5, 2024 and please do not let your student know that they have been nominated.
